How we picked them
Since Oman Vision 2040 places weight on digital skills for Omani nationals, we favoured providers offering practical, role-based Copilot learning that local teams can apply immediately. We compared published course outlines, classroom availability in Muscat, and the range from one-day intensives to longer practitioner certificates.

Oman's digital economy goals and Copilot skills
Oman has tied AI skills to its economic plans. The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology launched the National Programme for AI and Advanced Digital Technologies in October 2022 and expanded it in 2023 to include generative AI. The wider goal is to raise the digital economy from 2% to 10% of GDP by 2040, which puts everyday productivity tools like Microsoft 365 Copilot firmly on employers' training plans.
Microsoft has also worked with the ministry on a programme called Build the Skills of the Future, covering cloud, data and AI and aiming to equip 10,000 Omanis with digital skills by 2025. Organisations training on Copilot should also account for the Personal Data Protection Law issued by Royal Decree 6/2022. The providers in this list offer role-based courses, one-day intensives, certification-style learning and foundational AI paired with Office skills.
