How we picked them

The Skillopedia team shortlisted providers that publish Copilot or Copilot Studio courses delivered in the Emirates, then compared how closely each one ties training to real Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams tasks. Because so many UAE buyers work with government entities or regulated banks, we also gave weight to how clearly a provider explains tenant data boundaries and licensing tiers.

Disclosure: Skillopedia publishes this guide and its lead trainer is listed first.

How to choose a Microsoft Copilot trainer in Dubai and the UAE

  • Confirm whether your staff hold full Microsoft 365 Copilot licences or only Copilot Chat
  • Ask how the trainer handles labs on a client tenant versus a demo tenant
  • Check that sessions explain sensitivity labels and SharePoint permissions before prompting
  • Request Arabic examples if frontline or government-facing staff will use Copilot
  • Ask for separate tracks for managers, analysts and executive assistants
  • Agree on a usage measure, such as Copilot adoption reports, for after the course

Why Copilot skills moved up the agenda in the Emirates

Public-sector scale is shaping the UAE market. In July 2026 the Abu Dhabi Government added 26,000 Microsoft 365 Copilot licences across 27 entities, bringing its total to 35,000, and paired the rollout with staff training and certification. With the emirate aiming to become the world's first AI-native government by 2027, suppliers, banks and developers that work alongside government have followed with Copilot programmes of their own, many of them based in Dubai.

Data handling is the question most UAE buyers raise first. The federal Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and free-zone regimes such as those of DIFC and ADGM mean teams want to understand what Copilot can see inside the tenant and how permissions shape its answers. Providers in the list range from short introductions and classroom courses to official Microsoft courseware, so the right fit depends on whether you need awareness, role-based skills or Copilot Studio agents.

Questions people ask

It should. Teams handling customer or employee records need to know how the federal Personal Data Protection Law, and free-zone rules in DIFC or ADGM where relevant, apply to the content Copilot reads. A good session shows how Copilot respects existing permissions and sensitivity labels, and when to keep a document out of a prompt altogether.
Many trainers prefer it, because staff practise on the files, mailboxes and Teams channels they actually use. It needs your IT team to confirm licences are assigned and that test content is suitable. Where that is not possible, a demo tenant with realistic sample documents is a workable fallback for the first session.
Yes. Copilot Chat offers web-grounded chat to users with an eligible Microsoft 365 account, while the paid Microsoft 365 Copilot licence adds work-grounded answers inside Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint. Training should match what each group holds, otherwise people learn features they cannot open on Monday morning.
Common patterns are a short leadership briefing, then department labs, then a champions group that supports colleagues after the course. Timing often follows licence assignment waves. Costs and formats vary by provider, so ask each one for a written proposal against the same brief and the same group sizes.
Some providers in this guide teach Copilot Studio alongside everyday Copilot, others focus on Microsoft 365 apps only. If your goal is building agents that answer HR or procurement questions, ask for a separate Copilot Studio module with its own prerequisites, environment set-up and governance discussion with your IT administrators.
